General information about moving in and what to bring

Early arrival booking

If you need a room before the start of your tenancy you can request early arrival accommodation through your online account. For more information log in to your account.

Move In tips

The first instalment of accommodation fees must be paid on or before arrival at the residence. To avoid queues and delays on your move in day we recommend that you pay your accommodation fees online before arrival.

At the check in desk you will be asked for your Reference Number (e.g. CRN200123) so please have this to hand. You will also need to present some photo identification such as a passport, driving licence etc.

Our residences have limited or no parking facilities so we recommend that you go to the check in desk first before unloading your belongings.

If you are coming by car it is worth checking the London travel news in case some roads are closed due to road works, public events or processions. Also remember that if you are driving through Central London during the week you may have to pay the Congestion Charge.

If you plan to arrive after your move-in date you must tell the residence office, otherwise your room may be given to someone else. Remember that the accommodation fees are due by your move in date or the start of your Tenancy Agreement, whichever is sooner.

Please ensure you arrive within the times specified below.

Some residences accept out-of-hours arrivals but you must arrange this with the office in advance and have paid your fees before arrival. Unfortunately if you arrive outside of the opening hours and have not paid your fees you will not be given your room. To avoid this situation you can pay your fees at any time online or by phone during the residence office opening hours.
